Today we will talk about the "Logs" story parts and the BGM that creates the world's atmosphere! Starting at 8:00 PM (JST), we will broadcast "SOUL COVENANT Meeting Room" with special guest composer Yasunori Mitsuda!

Today we will bring you the latest updates about SOUL COVENANT (Developed/Published by Thirdverse Co., Ltd.), including background music (BGM) that creates the world's atmosphere and the "Logs" story parts.

Also, during today's live broadcast "SOUL COVENANT Meeting Room", scheduled at 8:00 PM (JST), we'll have composer Yasunori Mitsuda join us as a special guest to discuss the latest game information.

■Background music (BGM) that creates the game's atmosphere.

SOUL COVENANT was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda from Procyon Studio, known for his work on titles such as "CHRONO TRIGGER" and the "Xenoblade" series.

Mitsuda composed all the music, including tracks like "SOUL COVENANT," which shares its title with the game, and "EVE," inspired by the artificial intelligence character Eve, who manages the Re:In. For these tracks, artist lasah provided vocals and lyrics, matching the game's atmosphere with her delicate and ethereal voice, enhancing the immersion into the game's world.

The music portrays with originality intense battles against formidable enemies, along with the emotional struggles of the characters, making it a must-listen.

SOUL COVENANT's BGM was created with a focus on the theme of the battle between humanity and machines. Therefore, we produced an electric sound with a combination of live instruments and electronic music (synthesizers), reflecting a juxtaposition or a kind of coexistence between the two. Also I hope listeners can fully experience the distinctive vocal style of lasah, which can be described as a voice that speaks directly to the mind, through VR.

■Logs of Recollecting Memories

The protagonist, a special enhanced human, possesses a function called "Re:In." Each time they exhaust their strength, they overcome death by having their memories transplanted into the next clone. The memory transplant takes place in a space called "Cyberbrain Limbo", where countless "memories of the dead" are stored. The memories of predecessors are managed in the form of "Logs." These "Logs" are reproduced by a dedicated system called the "Re:In Program." Special videos and images are placed three-dimensionally inside a 360-degree space, allowing the player to view them while moving their head or changing locations.
